Overview
FB Auto Reply & Like is a Chrome extension that automates liking and replying to Facebook post comments. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Data Collection
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
All operations are performed locally within your browser. The extension does not:
- Send any data to external servers or third parties
- Access your Facebook credentials or authentication tokens
- Read private messages or personal information
- Use Facebook’s API or any external APIs
- Include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry
- Access browsing history or data from other websites
Local Storage
The extension uses Chrome’s local storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save:
- Toggle states (auto-like, auto-reply, mention settings)
- Reply templates you create
- Delay preferences (smart/manual mode, min/max seconds)
- Keyword filter settings
- Activity log (commenter names, action types, timestamps)
- Bot mode preference (batch/watch)
This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted externally. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
Permissions
- activeTab: To interact with the currently active Facebook tab when you click the extension icon
- storage: To save your settings and activity log locally
- Host permissions (facebook.com): To run the content script on Facebook pages for comment detection and interaction
How It Works
The extension operates by interacting with the Facebook page DOM (Document Object Model) in your browser. It simulates user actions (clicking like buttons, typing replies) based on your configured settings. All interactions happen within your browser session.
Third-Party Services
This extension does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or external dependencies.
Terms of Use
Automating interactions on Facebook may violate Facebook’s Terms of Service. Use this extension at your own risk. The developer is not responsible for any account restrictions or actions taken by Facebook.
